The Story Behind Our Mexican Flowers
Mexico is home to a rich floral legacy. Several of our designs celebrate native flowers woven into world culture and history:
Cempasúchil (Marigold)
Native to Mexico (Tagetes erecta), its glowing orange petals light up Day of the Dead altars and welcome back loved ones.
Plumeria (Cacaloxóchitl)
The delicate "May flower" native to tropical Mexico, revered by the Aztecs for sacred rituals and palace garden decor.
Poinsettia (Cuetlaxóchitl)
Born in Mexico as cuetlaxóchitl, it traveled the world to become the universally recognized Christmas star flower.
